I always feel sorrow for every American who pays the ultimate sacrifice in the service of our country. In this case, it strikes closer to home because it's a fellow submarine officer. On another sad note, I terrifies me to even contemplate the emotional trauma of losing a child. Steven Curtis Chapman is one of our favorite contemporary Christian artists. His 5 year old daughter, Maria, was accidentally killed in their own driveway on Wednesday.
